Ancient city

Ancient city is the place where the collection of cultural and artwork of Thailand from different range period of time for the learning source. The Ancient City creates a kind of atmosphere that induces visitors to perceive and appreciate the continuity of history, cultures, religions, arts, and customs of Thai people from dawn until now.

Creator

The ancient city was created by Khun Lek Viriyaphant, who also created the Erawan Museum in Samut Prakan and the Sanctuary of Truth temple in Pattaya. Khun Lek builds Muang Boran to preserve the Thai national heritage for the future. The number of historic sites spread over Thailand is huge and distances considerably.

About

The ancient city (Muang Boran) is divided into 6 parts; Central, North, East, South, North-East, Re-creation. It’s the place where you can get an overview of Thai history in just one day.

Get around

As you know Ancient city is a huge place, spreading over 200 acres (0.81 km2) in the shape of Thailand. There are several ways to get around. The shuttle bus is the best option for those who want a tour guide and learn a lot about the history of each place. They will ride the tourists around and tell the exciting story. Then, stop at the most important places to explore inside. Shuttle bus services time is every day Except Sunday.

The schedule of the shuttle is as follow.

10.00 – 12.00

13.00 – 15.00

15.00 – 17.00

17.00 – 19.00

If you like to look around privately, so golf car or bicycle should be the better options.

Golf car for rent:

2 seat 150/hr.

4 seat 300/hr.

6 seat 450/hr.

*The driver should be more than 18 years old
